High carbon steel spiral flute screw extractors are heat-treated and tempered for long life. The tool surface is treated to resist rust, and the tapered left-hand spiral flutes grip screws firmly. Intended to remove screws manually with T-handle tap wrench or equivalent. Its spiral flutes are designed to embed themselves deeper into the metal as you turn the tool, so as the fastener resistance increases, the extractor's grip increases. Required drill size is permanently laser-marked on the shank of each extractor for easy reference.
